As many of you know we have stopped work on Next-X after 8 long years. I personally cannot say this came a surprise since most of the creators(myself included) have all had many real life issues come up which curtailed our progress with things on the site. I for one am very glad of not only the time we all had on the site(& the MSN group so long ago), but also the friendships that have been forged over the years. To be completely honest while there have been troubles in the workflow from time to time Next-X was the most professional fan-site I have ever come across. Also in a funny way a "bitch-out" letter that got sent to me(and the others I assume) in some ways validates everything we ever did. The fact that someone was so angry with us for stopping work on the site really goes to show that we did strike a cord with people. I would say that I will miss working with all of the folks from the site but, we will always be around to bounce ideas back & forth to each other. Much luvs to all my fellow creators.

Friends & the like

Well thanks to my good buddy Jason I have some of my flair for writing/drawing back. I recently got a wild hair to do a Heroes fanfic type story, that will hopefully be made into an actual comic, and designed a couple of characters. Unfortunately real life stepped in a squashed it out of me for a few months. Then my buddy Jason showed up and said he'd help me write the story. This helped in so many ways. As many of you know I'm ok at writing but not good, he's great at writing and can help flesh out parts that I would leave blank or just kind of gloss over. To be honest I think this will help the chances of the story getting picked up by the website inumerably. I have an artist in mind that I would love to see do the pages for the story but, I'm not sure what his schedule will be or if he'd be able to do it. So I might be looking for someone to be able to draw the actual pages from jason & myselfs script. If you're interested please let me know. Hoping all are well.

Friends & the like

Hello again all. Well unfortunately the townhouse didn't quite work out. So I'm back at home and feeling kinda bummed. So I decided to start drawing again(now that I have access to a scanner again). The first piece I'm gonna post is a picture for Vale of her character Maverick. Not sure why I did this piece just got it in my mind to do it and out it came. Who knows maybe this is the end of a bad bought of artist block. Any which way I think I'm gonna be off and draw something else. If ya have any ideas for me let me know.

As some of you will know I recently moved in with a couple of my friends into a townhouse. With this new move comes some very interesting new ideas for newer things for me to do. I've been finding my niche for photography again and have also re-found an old card game I used to play called 7th sea which is a pirate game of all things. Well with this I'm working on making new cards for that game and also taking a lot of new photos so soon some of them will be appearing on here. Unfortunately I need to get a new scanner since the one I had before belongs to my folks. Also I'm open to trying some new drawing stuff so if you have anything you'd like me to draw just ask and I'll see what i can do. Till next time.

I know it's been awhile since I've done an entry here so here goes nothing. Recently me and a few friends have come together to form NC Press which will be our new online story and art outlet. The first comic we're going to be working on is going to be more "Heroes" esque. Basically it's going to have people with powers but, no big costumes and the like. Hopefully this will be good enough to get folks to read it. Also as I've said before I'm going to be re-making some of my characters from Next-X, now these characters are going to be fit into this new style universe we're creating. Hopefully soon I'll have some new pictures and some logos to go with the new outlet.
